After joining the Çalık Group on April 19, 2004, Bursagaz has become a success story over the past four years. Aiming to ensure that natural gas is supplied to all parts of Bursa under the slogan "For a Blue Sky and Green Bursa," Bursagaz carried out many successful projects ranging from investments to customer service to substantial support for the social and cultural life of Bursa.

Having introduced more than 300,000 families in Bursa to the comfort provided by natural gas, an affordable and environmentally-friendly fuel, as a result of its subscription campaigns since 2004, Bursagaz continues to carry out its projects without slackening its pace.
Bursagaz recently launched a new subscription campaign and increased its subscribers to 600,000 together with new subscribers who signed a subscription agreement during the first two months of the year. Thus, the number of natural gas subscribers who signed agreements with Bursagaz since 2004 is more than 300,000.
Bursa residents have expressed keen interest in the campaign which was launched in order to enable people living in the city to take out a subscription for natural gas in the most cost-effective, convenient, and quickest manner. It permits subscribers to pay only YTL 5 of the subscription fee in advance while the rest is paid in 15 equal installments.
Bursagaz General Manager, Ertuğrul Altın, said that the past four years was a success story which they owed to Bursa's residents. He thanked all of Bursa's residents for the support they have given. Emphasizing that the company intends to provide services meeting international standards for Bursa residents, Altin went on to say: "We promised to supply natural gas for all parts of Bursa within five years when I and other members of the management were appointed. We have kept our promise. Natural gas was available in only 35 percent of Bursa when we took over Bursagaz after its privatization. We have brought it up to 79 percent over the past four years. We intend to reach 98 percent by the end of 2008 and to supply natural gas in all parts of Bursa which have been included in land-use plans."
Bursagaz will complete its infrastructure projects under its investment program for 2008 and start delivering natural gas to 39 new districts. When the infrastructure works are completed, 67,000 more families will begin receiving natural gas while natural gas infrastructure will have been extended to all areas in Bursa which are covered by land-use plans.
