BURSAGAZ'S 1ST VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT WAS ORGANIZED

Bursagaz's 1^st Volleyball Tournament was organized between October 27 and November 25, 2011 under the direction of professional referees according to a structure determined by lots cast among 16 teams formed by employees on a departmental basis or with employees from different departments. The tournament, in which 128 employees participated, placed particular importance on friendly competition; this atmosphere of tolerance and sharing generated great employee enthusiasm for the event.

The tournament, which kicked off on October 27 between the GENERAL DIRECTORATE and CORPORATE COMMUNICATION teams, ended on November 25 with the consolation match played between the GENERAL DIRECTORATE and KINGS OF THE COURT, followed by the final between PATIENT CUSTOMERS and BADE SPOR. The championship cup was won by BADE SPOR, the first runner-up cup by PATIENT CUSTOMERS and the second runner-up cup by the GENERAL DIRECTORATE.

After the final matches, the cups, medals and awards for the champion and the first runner-up were handed out by the General Director of Bursagaz, Ahmet Hakan TOLA. The cups, medals and awards for the second runner-up were given by Bursagaz Corporate Communication Department as the second runner up was the General Directorate team and the General Director of Bursagaz Ahmet Hakan Tola was a player on that team.

With sporting events such as these, Bursagaz aims at increasing the motivation of its employees, fostering communication in the working environment by enabling them to experience the feeling of sharing in a positive environment and to increase labor productivity by improving the feeling of camaraderie, in addition to encouraging its employees to adopt a healthy life style.

Bursagaz enabled its employees to know each other better and to socialize with each other in the 1^st Volleyball Tournament. In addition, participation of female employees was ensured by making it compulsory to have female players on every team.
