After subsription is completed, how does the installation process work?
After becoming a subscriber, you will now contract with an engineering company certificated by BURSAGAZ that will perform the installation.
Please pay attention to the following guidelines during the installation process:
- Is the installation company you select certified by Bursagaz? Have they received the proper authorization document from Bursagaz? Ask to see their certificate.
- Do not work with uncertified installation companies.
- You must have a written contract with the company that will carry out the installation work.
- You must write in the contract the kind of materials that will be used in the transfer to natural gas, including the brand of the device and the payment form as well as all other requests. Furthermore, there must be provision in the contract specifying that the “Courts and Enforcement Departments in Bursa will be certified in case of a conflict."
- Bursagaz will not be responsible for the contract you have created with a certified company.
- The approval and installation control appointment acts of your project will be followed through by the company with whom you have contracted.
- In case you encounter a situation during the installation process that does not comply with the contract you have signed with the certified company, you can obtain information about the company from Bursagaz's Help Desk.
- Keep in mind--both your responsibilities and the responsibilities of the engineering company will be laid down in the contract that will be signed.
- You can obtain information on the authorization status of the engineering company from the Help Desk or Bursagaz's website.
- It is imperative that you notify Bursagaz if you need a modification after the gas has been turned on during installation. Bursagaz provides authorization for interventions involving the gas lines.
After installation by the certified company:
- An authorized employee from Bursagaz will come to your flat together with an employee of the certified engineering company to ensure the compliance and accuracy of the installation.
- If your installation conforms to Bursagaz's technical specifications and the project and all devices are installed correctly, the natural gas adherence document will be issued (one copy of this document will be provided to you).
- If your installation does not conform to Bursagaz's technical specifications, the project will not be issued an adherence document. Natural gas cannot be used in any way without having first obtained the natural gas adherence documents from Bursagaz.
